Professor Carlos Padilla, PhD

Professor Carlos Padilla holds a PhD. degree in economics from the University of Connecticut. He has been teaching economics in the DC area for the last 12 years. He has been working with the University of Potomac since 2018.

Prior to that Dr. Padilla taught at the State University of New York, Mary Washington University and the University of Puerto Rico. Among the courses he has taught are marginal economics, international economics, macro, microeconomics, and corporate finance.

Dr. Padilla has also worked with State Department diplomats and IMF and World Bank economists instructing them in the language and culture of Spain and Latin America prior to their diplomatic tours and economic missions.
