Professor Gillian Coote-Martin, PhD

My name is Gillian Coote-Martin. I am an Adjunct Professor at the College of Business. I joined Potomac in Fall, 2013. My primary research interests are Organizational Change and Marketing Segmentation. Change is constant, and with today’s global business environment, you have to know your target audience and how to marketing your products or services. I have two academic journal publications titled “Marketing Segmentation” and “he Interrelationships of Innovation, Change, Originality, and Creativity.”

Before teaching at Potomac, I taught for Capella University. I was a First Course Instructor for the Undergraduate Department College of Business. I had a passion for politics and was a Candidate for Public Office – Coral Springs City Commissioner (November 2010). I was honored to be a member of the National Dean’s list and traveled to China on a Student Exchange Program at Beijing Normal University. I also had the privilege to attend a Doctoral Residency Program in Santiago, Chile, at University Andres Bello. I have obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing, Master in Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at Argosy University.
