Dr. Magda Ponce

I am Dr. Magda Ponce, and my professional journey is dedicated to instructing Early Childhood Development courses here at the University of Potomac. With an educational background that includes a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Teaching, Learning, and
Curriculum, and a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies, all obtained from Texas Woman’s University, I bring 14 years of rich teaching experience to my role. My passion is nurturing the skills of bilingual early childhood educators. I am from León, Guanajuato, México, and now call Dallas, Texas, my home. Outside the classroom, I cherish the time spent with my family, cultivating plants and indulging in drawing and painting.

Soy la Dra. Magda Ponce, y mi trayectoria profesional está dedicada a impartir cursos de Desarrollo Infantil Temprano aquí en la Universidad de Potomac. Con una formación educative que incluye un Doctorado en Educación Infantil, una Maestría en Enseñanza, Aprendizaje y Currículo y una Licenciatura en Estudios Interdisciplinarios, todos obtenidos de la Texas Woman’s University, aporto a mi cargo 14 años de rica experiencia docente. Mi pasión es fomentar las habilidades de los educadores bilingües de la primera infancia. Soy de León, Guanajuato, México y ahora llamo a Dallas, Texas, mi hogar. Fuera del aula, valoro el tiempo que paso con mi familia, cultivando plantas, además de dedicarme al dibujo y la pintura.
