About Professor Richard Kramer
I am an experienced scholar-practitioner in organizational leadership, organizational design, and workforce management, with more than 40 years of combined military and civilian experience. I hold a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Strayer University.
My professional background bridges leadership, research, applied systems thinking, workforce development, and public-sector transformation. Over my career, I have led organizations ranging from small teams to large, complex workforces and have designed and implemented organizational transformation efforts that translate strategy into practice. My work emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, data interpretation, organizational effectiveness, and the application of leadership theory to real-world challenges.
My teaching and mentoring approach combines academic rigor with practical experience. I have developed and taught technical training as well as academic courses in leadership, research design, organizational design, and workforce management. I also have a strong interest in the responsible use of artificial intelligence to improve organizational work processes and to create more robust, engaging, and applied learning experiences for students.
