Glen Austin

Glen Thomas Austin Jr. is an attorney and legislative professional based in Houston, Texas. Glen currently serves as Director of Education Policy for the Greater Houston Partnership, Texas’ largest chamber of commerce and economic development organization. Prior to joining GHP, Glen served as Executive Director of Government and Community Relations for Texas Southern University, has served as legislative staff in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate, and has directed the campaigns of numerous successful candidates for public office.

Glen also operates Austin Legal PLLC, a boutique law firm focused on business, injury, and legislative law. Glen is an experienced civil litigator and has handled hundreds of trials and mediations.

Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Glen earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and earned his law degree and certification in Government Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Glen also earned two Mediation certifications from University of Houston Law Center.
