President Clinton GardnerLet me take this opportunity to congratulate you on successfully completing the academic requirements to receive your degree at University of the Potomac. We know that completing your degree is an exciting time for you and your family and friends who share in your success.

I am writing this letter to inform you that due to the on-going and continued concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, University of the Potomac has decided to host a virtual commencement ceremony on June 26, 2021. Since our public health experts continue to warn all entities to avoid conducting events and gatherings that involve bringing together large groups of people, and to ensure the continued safety of our entire community, we felt that it was important make this decision at this point on time.

Do know that this was a difficult decision to make, and we relied on information and recommendations from our public health professional to assist us in making this final decision. We will be celebrating the completion of your studies at Potomac in a manner that does not violate the mandates that have been put in place by local, state, and federal government officials. Please keep checking your email for additional information.

Again, congratulations on achieving this great accomplishment. Our educational community enthusiastically welcomes you as the newest alumni of University of the Potomac.
