Elycheikh Ahmedtelba, Ph.D

Dr. Elycheikh Ahmedtelba is a full-time professor and Chair of GenEd and ESL Department at UOTP. He graduated from the University of Anaheim, USA. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies: Gender and Media, and Communication and MA in Intercultural and Postcolonial Studies for the USMBA University of Saiss, Fez – Morocco. He earned a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Nouakchott, Mauritania.
For over 14 years, Dr. Elycheikh has been teaching and lecturing in various institutions around the world. He taught African Literature, Academic Writing Skills and Translation at the University of Nouakchott, Mauritania and Critical Thinking, Poetics and Politics of Titling, English for Business, and Research Methodology at both Lebanese International University and University of Saiss.
He served as a deputy and senior lecturer of the General Education department at Al Khawarizmi International College, University of Abu Dhabi in UAE, where he taught Business Ethics, environmental Issues and Preparation for work as prerequisites subjects for graduate students. He has accumulated great experience in corporate behavior and educational motivation as well as e-learning strategies.
