Professor Vargha
Azad, PhD

Dr. Vargha Azad has more than 26 years of professional experience in different parts of the World Bank specializing in international economics, modeling, econometrics, and management information systems. As a professor, she has served in the academic circles of Johns Hopkins University, Strayer University, Virginia International University, University of District of Columbia, California University of Management and Science, and Potomac University. She teaches marketing, management, business, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, financial management and financial accounting. In the capacity of associate campus dean for the general studies program, she was responsible for the planning and management of academic programs. She has served as lead mathematics professor for Strayer University. Presently she is teaching economics, mathematics, statistics, financial accounting, and marketing courses live and on line, using Moodle, e-college, Angellearning, WebCT, and black board platforms. She has participated in preparing and publishing many publications. Dr. Azad earned her doctorate degree in education in organizational leadership from NOVA Southeastern University; MPhil degree in economics from George Washington University; MS degree in economics from A and M University in Kingsville Texas; MS degree in information system from Strayer University and her BS degree in economics from Pahlavi University in Iran.
