Tacha Brooks

Professor Brooks earned the following Masters of Science in Administration degrees from Central Michigan University in Information Resource Management, Human Resource Management, and General Administration. She has earned her Bachelor of Arts from Norfolk State University in Political Science/Public Administration and has also completed coursework for a Master of Sciences in Educational Technology from DeVry University and coursework in the doctoral studies of Industrial Organizational Psychology from Capella University. Currently, Professor Brooks is a Doctoral Candidate of Business Administration at The University of the Potomac. Professor Brooks has over 30 years experience as a human resource consultant with over 30 years experience offering an array of skills in accurate employee job performance assessment, recommending and implementing action plan strategies to meet organizational needs, interdepartmental coordination, consultative relationship building, coaching, training, communication and schedule planning as well as Contract/Project Management, Office Administration, Staff Planning, Facility Management and Operations, Career Development and Organizational Training and Development. Professor Brooks has 17 years of graduate and undergraduate teaching experience in both synchronous and asynchronous format in a variety of areas of concentration including the political science, psychology, sociology, human resource management, business management, marketing, educational technology and information resources management. She has resided in the State of Maryland and Washington DC her entire life and enjoys going on road trips with family and close friends as well as spending time with family.
