About Professor Daryl Brydie

Dr. Sergei Andronikov has over 30 years of academic experience serving as an Academic Administrator, business professor and researcher in the universities in S-E Asia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and three different states in the US, also administering Business Programs including MBA/EMBA and Executive Education. Twice he was awarded with Royal Society Fellowship, UK.

Dr. Daryl Brydie is an accomplished management consulting, cybersecurity, information technology, and higher education professional with more than 30 years of experience across the U.S. Department of Defense, federal civilian sector, commercial industry, and academia. His expertise includes cybersecurity strategy and operations, information and network security, cloud security, DevSecOps, risk management, systems engineering, data analytics, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Throughout his career, Dr. Brydie has supported mission-critical federal and defense technology programs, led multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams, managed multimillion-dollar initiatives, and advised organizations on cybersecurity governance, Zero Trust, cloud security, security operations, and risk management. His professional interests increasingly focus on the convergence of AI, Machine Learning, cybersecurity, enterprise data, and emerging technologies.

Dr. Brydie also brings more than 30 years of higher education teaching experience, including service at Virginia State University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has approximately 21 years of teaching experience at the University of the Potomac, formerly Potomac College. His teaching areas include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, programming, information systems, data management, algorithms, mathematics, and quantitative methods. He is committed to connecting academic theory with real-world practice while promoting innovation, ethical leadership, and student success.
