About Professor Dr. Stormi Duckett
Dr. Stormi Duckett is an experienced educator and higher education instructor with a strong background in early childhood education and educational leadership. She has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of the Potomac for over two years, where she supports aspiring educators as they advance through their academic and professional journeys. In addition to her work in higher education, Dr. Duckett is an active elementary educator with Prince George’s County Public Schools, bringing current, real-world classroom experience into her instruction and mentorship.
Dr. Duckett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, a Master of Education from the University of Maryland, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Her academic preparation, combined with her extensive classroom experience, informs her commitment to bridging theory and practice in education.
She is passionate about supporting early childhood educators as they navigate their degree programs at the University of the Potomac, with a focus on practical application, instructional excellence, and student success.
