About Jim Shelton
Dr. Sergei Andronikov has over 30 years of academic experience serving as an Academic Administrator, business professor and researcher in the universities in S-E Asia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and three different states in the US, also administering Business Programs including MBA/EMBA and Executive Education. Twice he was awarded with Royal Society Fellowship, UK.

I am a twice-retired MBA (Auditor General) from both Fairfax and Arlington Counties in Northern Virginia. In these roles, I provided independent assurance that policies, programs, and resources authorized by the Board were deployed by management in a manner consistent with the Board’s intent and in compliance with all applicable statutes, ordinances, and directives.
Throughout my career, I have planned and led global finance, budget, and internal audit departments. Additionally, I have managed fraud hotlines and led fraud investigations.
As the Director of Finance, I managed five direct reports, each of whom supervised staff of 5-10 employees. The departments under my purview included Audit, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Budget, and IT.
During my professional career, I have managed and mentored staff, implemented training programs, and developed strategies to drive change.
It is my pleasure to be a part of the University of Potomac Faculty.
