About Jim Shelton
Dr. Sergei Andronikov has over 30 years of academic experience serving as an Academic Administrator, business professor and researcher in the universities in S-E Asia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and three different states in the US, also administering Business Programs including MBA/EMBA and Executive Education. Twice he was awarded with Royal Society Fellowship, UK.

I am Professor Jim Shelton, MBA. I am new to the University of the Potomac Faculty.
I am a twice retired Auditor General for Fairfax and Arlington Counties. County Counties are in Northern Virgina. I in the roles provided independent means for gaining reasonable assurance that policies, programs, and resources authorized by the Board were deployed by management in manners consistent with the intent of the Board and in compliance with all applicable statutes, ordinances, and directives.
Throughout my career, I have planned and led global finance, budget and internal audit departments. Additionally, I have managed fraud hotlines and led fraud investigations.
As the Director of Finance, I managed five direct reports each of who managed staff between 5-10 employees. Departments under my purview have included; Audit, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Budget and IT.
During my professional career, I have managed and mentored staff, implemented training programs, and developed strategies to implement change.
It is my pleasure to be a part of the University of Potomac Faculty of your professor.
