Potomac College, a regionally accredited school with campuses in Washington, DC, Virginia and online, is now offering human resources professionals the opportunity to earn their MBA, even if they don’t have a business-oriented Bachelor’s degree.
Under Potomac’s MBA program guidelines, any HR professional can enroll in the online MBA program provided that they hold a Bachelors degree. Potomac students whose Bachelors degree is outside of a business-related field are only required to complete three additional core managerial courses as part of their MBA program – one each in accounting, finance and economics.
“Far too often, accredited schools require their MBA students to have a business-related Bachelors degree,” says Dr. James Booker, Potomac College’s MBA Program Director. “However, because of the many natural synergies between human resources and other business-related fields, we feel that every HR professional should be eligible to earn their MBA from an accredited college regardless of the specific type of Bachelors degree they hold.”
“It’s no secret that MBA degree holders often enjoy higher salaries, increased job stability and more growth opportunities throughout their careers,” continues James Moses, Academic Dean for Potomac College. “HR professionals are vital to ensure that every company runs at its very best. Given their strategic importance in today’s business world, we feel that these professionals should enjoy all the advantages of earning an accredited MBA that their colleagues in other business departments have so long enjoyed.”
To introduce HR professionals to its online MBA program, Potomac College is holding an online open house on Thursday, March 21st at 6:30 p.m. EST. Hosted by Dean Moses and Dr. Booker, this free, virtual open house will enable prospective MBA students to lean more about Potomac’s online MBA program, preview the school and have their questions answered. Advanced registration is required, and space is limited. To register, please visit: https://potomac.edu/learn/mba-degree-professionals/
HR professionals who are unable to attend the event can still request additional information on Potomac’s online MBA program by visiting the above link, or by calling 888-380-1192.
