Washington DC offers a wide range of cultural, historical and educational attractions to area residents. And while places like The Smithsonian, The National Gallery, The Kennedy Center and even The Newseum provide ample opportunities for expanding one’s horizons, there’s another, lesser-known attraction specifically designed for working adults who are looking to start or advance their careers.
Tucked away at 4000 Chesapeake Street N.W. is the Washington DC college campus of University of the Potomac, an accredited institution of higher learning dedicated to working adults.
Potomac’s Washington DC College Campus
Located across the street from Fort Reno Park, the Washington DC college campus provides the ideal setting for busy working adults looking to make the most of their limited time. For starters, the school only offers courses on nights and weekends, enabling professionals to easily schedule their classes at times that are convenient for them. In addition, since the Washington DC college campus is housed entirely in one building, getting to and from class is quick and easy, and all administrative offices are close by too.
The intimate setting also extends to the classrooms. Class sizes are small, rarely exceeding fifteen students. This ensures that each student gets the time and attention needed to get the most out of each class, while gaining more of the skills required for their chosen career.
Potomac’s Washington DC College Curriculum
The Washington DC college campus offers students the opportunity to earn a Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in the following areas of study:
- Business
- Information Technology
- Accounting
- International Business
- Digital Forensics
- Network Security Management
- Government Contract Management
